Eternity launches new needle-free injection device
Eternity Healthcare, a developer of rapid diagnostic tests, has launched a new needle-free injection device.
The new device injects the medicine into the body, with out the use of the needle, thus no chance of contamination or cross infection phobia.
Eternity said the technology is fast and pain-free and proven to be effective in administering greater than 95% of the medicine into the skin without the use of a needle.
The technology is believed to be ideal for diabetes patients for the injection of insulin, for other medicine in people with needle phobia, and children who are scared of needles.
The needle-free injection other uses include drug injection in needle-exchange programs and vaccination.
